Responsibilities

Perform outpatient evaluations and treatment, including physical exams, diagnostic interpretation, and care planning Provide inpatient consultations, participate in goals-of-care meetings, and round on hospitalized patients Develop and strengthen collaborative relationships across hospital departments to advance primary palliative care delivery Participate as a clinical educator, teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows Engage in clinical research as determined by the Medical Director Serve as a member of the Ethics Committee Contribute to program development, quality, equity, and patient experience initiativesRequirements Board certified/eligible in Palliative Medicine Board certified/eligible in a primary specialty (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, etc.) Eligible for medical licensure in New York State Strong understanding of palliative care clinical models, including program design, business modeling, quality, productivity, and equity Experience in new program development or expansion preferred Teaching experience desirableIdeal Candidate Experienced physician or new graduate with interest in leadership Team-oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills Committed to patient-centered, compassionate care Brings vision for growth and innovation in Palliative MedicineCompensation &
