We are hiring full-time or part-time hospitalist nurse practitioners for our nocturnist role. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively on overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration

• Join a team of 50 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers at Community Regional Medical Center.
• Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community.
• Community Medical Centers is affiliated with UCSF Fresno, which offers training to residents and fellows.
• Community Regional Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible nurse practitioners with acute care certification required.
• Active California license preferred.
• Must have at least one year of experience working as a hospitalist NP and have been a hospitalist NP within the last 24 months.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

• We are looking for a nurse practitioner interested in a nocturnist role.
• 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule.
• Shifts are 12 hours in length; 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete admissions for hospitalist service.
• No procedures required.
• Work alongside other day and swing shift advanced practice providers.
• Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who enjoys addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
• Utilize Epic EMR.

Rewards and Compensation

• Annual compensation: $180,000 salary + bonuses, based on the number of shifts worked.
• Moonlighting premium for additional shifts
