Surgical Critical Care / Trauma St. Louis, MO $350/hr

Surgical Critical Care/Trauma locums assignment at a Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis with coverage available ASAP through December 2026.

Schedule

  • Day and night shifts
  • Scheduled clinical coverage plus call
  • In-house coverage
  • Multiple physicians can participate in the schedule

Practice Details

  • Level I Trauma Center
  • Trauma Surgery
  • Emergency General Surgery
  • Surgical ICU / Critical Care
  • Approximately 1,800 2,000 trauma activations annually
  • 90,000+ ED visits annually
  • 979-bed hospital
  • 30 ORs with designated acute-care and trauma capacity
  • Robust Interventional Radiology service
  • 17 PAs/NPs
  • Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Board Certified
  • Surgical Critical Care fellowship required
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Missouri license or IMLC
  • Comfortable with trauma, emergency general surgery and ICU coverage

Compensation

  • $350/hr
  • Travel provided separately
