Why this role is worth a conversation
- Federal and state loan repayment eligible. This is an approved NHSC scholar site - a meaningful financial advantage for residents and early-career pediatricians carrying training debt.
- A schedule you can actually build a life around. Straight weekdays, 8 to 5. No call rotation, no weekend coverage, no night shifts.
- A workable panel. 20-22 patients per day in a well-supported outpatient setting - not a volume mill.
- Nose and tail malpractice coverage included. No gap exposure when you move on.
- Open to residents finishing training. If you complete your pediatrics residency in 2026 or 2027, you are eligible to apply now.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Completing an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics residency, or Board Eligible, or Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Active California medical license, or license eligible (verify - see open items)
- Fluency in Spanish and English. The majority of the patient population is Spanish-speaking, and direct provider-to-patient communication without an interpreter is essential to safe pediatric care in this setting.
- Authorized to work in the United States
