Job description
Sports Medicine Physician Wilmington DE Urgently Hiring 2 4 Days/Week No Call No Weekends We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Sports Medicine Physician to join our multidisciplinary medical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a flexible schedule, supportive clinical environment, and strong work-life balance. The physician will work 2 days per week in Wilmington, DE with the potential to work additional 1 2 days per week in Elkton, MD if seeking additional hours. If working both locations, candidates must be licensed to practice in both Delaware and Maryland. What You'll Do
- Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal injuries and related conditions
- Order and review diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Complete return-to-work evaluations as appropriate
- Refer patients for therapy or specialist care when needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Sports Medicine
- Active Delaware and/or Maryland medical licenses required
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
Schedule
- 2 days/week Wilmington, DE with potential additional 1 2 days/week Elkton, MD
- No call + No weekends
