Englewood Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Nephrologist to join our established and expanding nephrology team in Bergen County, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, physician-led organization dedicated to delivering exceptional kidney care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.

The incoming physician will provide comprehensive nephrology services, including the management of chronic kidney disease (CKD), hypertension, electrolyte disorders, acute kidney injury, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), and dialysis patients. The practice offers a strong referral network, advanced clinical resources, and opportunities for professional growth within a highly desirable northern New Jersey community.

About the Opportunity

  • Team Makeup: Four (4) Providers, Four (4) MAs
  • Schedule: Mon-Fri, 1x weekly on-call and 1x month weekend coverage

What your day will look like

  • Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic kidney disease
  • Manage patients with hypertension and fluid/electrolyte disorders
  • Oversee care for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients
  • Provide inpatient nephrology consultations
  • Coordinate care with primary care physicians and medical specialists
  • Educate patients and families regarding kidney disease prevention and treatment options
  • Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation
  • Participate in practice call coverage and quality initiatives

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree and completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Nephrology Fellowship
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of New Jersey
  • DEA & NJ CDS registrations
  • AHA or American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certifications
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence based care
